Geocaching,my other hobby.

Posted by west1871 on 19 May 2010, 18:19

Hello all,

Well this is what I do when I am not painting or following my beloved Reading FC.Geocaching is running around the country side or urban areas
with GPS(global posistion system)looking for caches.Caches are anything from film containers to massive ammo boxes hidden all over the place. It's taken me to some amazing places with some top views that I would never have thought exsisted. You have to be sneaky so muggles(people who do not cache :-D )do not cotten on to what you are up to.Here is a short video to explain more :-D
<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/1FxrMY91jJU&hl=en_GB&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/1FxrMY91jJU&hl=en_GB&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
Its a world wide hobby so give it a try

My nephew does this, and maybe...just maybe i´ll give it a bash with the firm I work for. Mind you, they´ve got to find the bloody place first!! :-)

That's what the missus would do if it wasn't for her nonfunctioning legs (wheelchair because of MS). Sounds really fun!
