Overlord update

Posted by ADM on 01 Aug 2023, 00:36

I'm preparing to add an update to my giant WWII war room (12 meter long diorama) this time it will be the landing in Normandy in 1944 by air and sea, I've made the base of plywood for the diorama, it will be 3 meter long and 1,8 meter large, it will include assault on the beach and also Pegasus bridge.
I will not start immediately because I'm already working with my Napoleonic project but this is a preview of this new add on, I've also somewhat improved this big diorama in many way and included my 1/72 aircraft carrier (made in 2014 for those who remember)) :-D
I took all those photos yesterday.

That is a fantastic space you have there! And it is flowing very well together. And that aircraft carrier stays awesome to see!

I presume you will put your Napoleonic project in another space? I see only WW2 projects here. ;-)

A remarkable and also very large 'war room'. This is a splendid set up, as is the spectacle of the masses of model military vehicles, aircraft and soldiery that you have accumulated.

And the aircraft carrier is simply ...Wow!! :yeah: :-D

What a feast for the eyes. This is could be a museum display for WW2.

To have the time and space to create this set up...and of course to have the skill to put this all together!!! Great achievements.

There is an enormous amount of work on show here, and all of a high standard.

The aircraft carrier really is exceptional.

If it floated under RC control it really would steal the show.

Best wishes,

Chris

ADM--

You are a bit of a man of mystery, in a good way, but there is no mystery here:

Just years and years of top class work assembled all in one place.
