This is all looking mighty impressive so far! Can't wait to see how those Russians come out. Will this all be for a realistic diorama or for tabletop wargaming?

Rich W, it will be a diorama as realistic as possible for tabletop wargaming ;-)

But now it's time to have a small break (I do it every year) with the Cannes film Festival in France, it has just started yesterday and I took some photos !

On the photo above she look like a princess :love:

Yep, same with me. But that's OK because ADM is my idea of a celebrity anyway.

Since it's in Cannes at film festival time I suppose that might be a real Louis Vuitton car. If I saw that anywhere in Australia I would suspect it was a $10 Bangkok knock off with a Trabi engine inside. :xd:

Yes, the Vuitton car is real, parked not far from the official Vuitton shop in Cannes !

even for me it's hard to recognize everybody, because each year there's plenty of new stars, and the others are changing their appearance, hair color and so on, I'm not taking all of them in photo, and sometime I realise afterward that it was a star ! :mrgreen:

On the photo above I've got two tickets to see the movie on thursday night, so I will cross the red stair with stars, but this year it's forbidden to take selfies on the red carpet, only professional photographer are allowed to do that, unfortunately ! :mad:

Anyway, I can still take picture of plenty of star inside Cannes !!!

) but all those stars are very famous in their own country (actress, top model and so on) ! maybe you might recognize them...
And some others know me very well, as well as I know them ! ;-)

I might have recognised Pedro Almodovar if Carmen Maura was with him.

I've heard of Cheryl Cole,if I knew she was so pretty I might have paid more attention in the past.

I like the girl in the blue dress, I'll watch her film. And Miss Provence looks lovely.

She started off as Cheryl Ann Tweedy then Cole then Fernandez-Versini.

She's now shacked up with her toy boy Liam Payne and goes by the name Cheryl (No surname)

Thank you for your update FredG, it seem that Cheryl is changing of boyfriends like changing her dresses ;-)

Saturday was busy with movies and plenty of top model/actress because it was women's day in Cannes.

I don't know her name but she was pregnant !

The hawks are free to come and go, they obey !

O.K. Now I'm impressed, the pictures with Helen mirren are great! And she does look very friendly. She gets my vote for best dress, you can't beat Medievel elegence. Jane Fonda looks lovely too. Now we need a classic French screen beauty, Isabelle Huppert springs to mind.

There are people who could paint Aishwarya's dress in 1/72 scale, but I'm not one of them.
