Pegasus figures website

Posted by closerlookbooks on 15 Mar 2011, 07:02

Dear friends,
The worst thing that could have happened has happened to my website. My computer had to be completely reformated and, in the process, I lost the contents, including my website builder, which means the entire site must be reconstructed. I hope to have it up and running within the next day or so. The site is still up and running, but you will notice nothing new has been added, but when it is up and running, I have a new interview with Doug Cohen, a masterclass sculptor and painter. It has a lot of great information on it.

Best wishes,
Steven Lloyd

Uh, if you log on to your account on your FTP program (like Total Commander or something, that's a program you run on your pc to upload stuff to the internet), then you can just copy the online version of your website to your C-disk.

I use an Apple computer with their iWeb program. Do you know anything about how to do what you described with Apple products? The ftp program is built right into the program iWeb.
Thanks for whatever help you can give me on this one. As you can imagine, I am not going to be able to recreate all of the blog entries. I hope to restore everything else though. AND I will back up the site on another disk.
Thanks
Steve

Wow, I feel for you.

But press on! Your site is really great and worth the hassle.

Best,

The new site is up and running. Don't miss the interview with Doug Cohen. This man's skills are incredible. He works primarily with 54mm but there is a lot to learn from him no matter what scale you paint at.

Steve,
I moved your thread here, because that's where it should be :-D

By the way, I hope you get your old content back up, especially your interviews! I really enjoy reading them.
