The Herne Conquest 2010

After surviving a ride through winter wonderland with summer tyres under the delightful company of a big friendly guy named Paul,i managed to get into the pit of devastating dealers and crazy customers-shortly said: I entered the fascinating but dangerous world of the Kunstofffigurenbörse Herne :-D

So after my budget was going near zero, this is what i´ve got in my bag:

Part One "The Retro Series"

- 1976 Airfix Kit HMS Belfast 1/700
- 1979 Airfix Kit Supermarine Spitfire 1/72
- 1979 Airfix Kit Focke Wulf 190-Dora 1/72 (sealed)
- 1979 Airfix Kit Westland Scout 1/72(sealed)
- 1976 Airfix ready made Antar Tank Transporter (in Original Box 5 €)
- 1978 Airfix ready made Landing Craft (in Original Box 5 €)
- 1975 Atlantic Stampede Set (2x Original Package , both sets on sprue for 3€ each)
- 1981 Airfix Nato Ground Crew (Original Package,loose Figs for 1 €)
- 1980 Esci British Infantry Zulu Wars (Sealed)
- 1981 Esci British Paratroopers "Red Devils" (on sprue)
- 1982 Esci U.S. Pilots and Ground Crew (Sealed)
- 1990 Revell Australian Infantry WWII (Sealed)

Part Two "The other Stuff"

- Emhar Vikings
- Zvezda Vikings
- Zvezda Medieval Ship (2 x)
- Italeri Medieval Tournament Set
- Orion Medieval Siege Engines (Set 1 & Set 2 , inside the boxes were the double amount of the usual included sprues-both sets together 5 €)

Part Three "The cheapest Figs in town are those for free"

- Revell Knights and Archers 100 Years War (Complete Sprue without Box)
- Esci British Paratroops (Complete on Sprue, damaged Box)

... puuhhh after all i could have bought much more interesting things-but i have to calm myself down...shhhhh easy now Dominik, easy!!!!

Yes, how did you get those artillery and cavalry? I'm looking for ages for that artillery, and you found them 6 times

Same question as Maurice, re-released?

@ Maurice & Peter:
Ran across these sets online on the Miniatures Page (http://theminiaturespage.com/) market place. Pure coincidence and the deal was too good to let go (I think I actually ended up with two more boxes than was advertised there. The find is even rarer because TMP offerings are usually only for metal figures, or 28mm plastic.....

The mailwoman brought me 2 nice presents this week. First there was the British tank crew from Milicast, and then there was a nice little present from Santa Paul, 2 sprues of HaT British colonials (artillery and camel corps).

So thanks Santa Paul! :-D

And to round out my Christmas loot (didn't get here until after the New Year, but I'm not complaining  ):

All Zvezda:

8006 Persian Infantry (x2)
8008 Persian Chariot and Cavalry (x2)
8017 Samurai Infantry (x2)
8046 Vikings
8052 Roman Auxiliary Infantry
8053 French Infantry 100YW
8059 Medieval Peasant Army (x2)
8060 English Infantry 100YW
8066 Swedish Artillery of Charles XII

And two large ziplock bags of yet to be sorted Romans, Gauls, Knights etc. From the looks of it, it's a mix of Airfix, Revell, and Accurate Armor, with some odds and ends thrown in.

Merry Christmas to me!! :-D

(Of course these will distract me even more from the Teutonic GB!! )

hi Benno, never heard of them before

just checked the catalogue online - did you buy finished models (I guess 1/87) or assembly ones?

what is the price for an average finished tree?

thanks for info
