The stagecoach was in second half...after the interval...(long films had intervals in those days in order to sell you icecream and to stop ladies from fainting) ..and just before the big snake attack. The gunfight in the town supported by the surviving indians from the fort battle takes place just before the interval. If I say anymore I will give the plot away then Jan won´t enjoy it as he will know what comes when!! ;-)

Yes! Now I can follow! In the first part the drunken indians are attacking a fort with a sandstorm, while the cowboys are watching in nice cosy chairs. And the interval was used for moving the whole circus with to a town, with the stagecoach off course, where the cowboys do a gunfight. And the drunken indians are watching it eating an icecream and having a lady in their arms, in a nice and cosy chair  :joker:

GOOOOOOOOOOD MOVIE PAUL   :joker:

See! There you go spoiling the plot for everyone else  I wasn´t going to mention the big mudfight scene with the clowns but seeing as you have told everyone about the circus coming to town ..... I always thought that the icecream was a bit historically incorrect for an 1868 period film but it´s a minor point and I think it can be ignored this time.

I really like he bit when one of the clowns...bippy I think his name is...runs up to a rather evil looking cowboy with a bucket pretending it´s full of water and then as he throws it it turns out that it was only confetti!!! Wonderfull scene which was taken up and repeated thousands of times by most of the great european circuses as a part of thier stage acts.

I still think the cutting of the scene with the rabbit was a mistake and I complained about this to my local Butcher, but he said he couldn´t do anything about it so I gave up.

Oh!!, and the indians, the comfy chair and the lady...that´s the X-rated version..only available for over 21 year olds. In fact it´s so naughty that when you watch it you have to hire a gentleman with white cotton gloves, who holds his hand over your eyes at certain sections to prevent over-excitement. If you don´t do this and watch without this precaution, then you are breaking European law 167.33 D sub section 3:7/8 and are liable to a fine of 1000 Euros and / or a prison term of 3 months. So be warned. !!!
