Who helps you with modelling

First my late father,who was a great art painter and ship modeller himself.
he gave me the initial inspiration and bought me my first airfix set when I was a little boy.-when modelling, that was the only time we could get along with each other.......
then there's my (second ) wife, who is very inspiring and also has a great feeling and sense for ......actually everything......and she is a great critisizer of my work as well.
last but not least I have to mention all my modeller collegues (also in this forum of course!) who are also responsible for permanent improvement of my modelling skills.
I think that is an important point!:
without communication and interaction with other people you'll get stuck in your developement and you'll miss encouragement on your life's journey.......I have to stop now,getting too much philosphical,though..........anyway we'll keep it up!!

Who helps... hummmmm...
Mostly the guys from my own forum, some of them I already know personally (I hope it will continue here).
For "quick answers" I would ask my wife ("do you think, the tree shall be put here oder there?") - she has a not the "pink glasses" on like me when I am build a new hing.

My Pets? - No. Chicken Nuggets and fish fingers are very stimulating, but not for modelling.

As I was younger I looked often TV. And McGyver was fascinating. He tooks a pen, his shoelace, found a little stone... and created a big tank or any strong and heavy weapon. He was great!

Yes, every time, if I´m sitting in my little dark chamber and waiting for an inspiration of modeling, than I remember McGyver. - Really.
