My arm hurts!

Posted by PitYak Studios on 25 Mar 2010, 20:21

There's a seriously good tattooist works across the road from me, and i've been trying unsuccessfully to get an appointment for months. Then my wife came in last night and said she had a surprise for me. “You’re going to see Manu tomorrow at 5”, she had secretly arranged it for our wedding anniversary.

Two minutes old;

(It's the Northumbrian flag by the way)

I haven’t been under the needle for ten years, but you never forget what it’s like. I did forget I would have an arm like popeye for a while. Didn’t get much sleep last night, and work today is going to be fun.

It begs the question, which part of your body is this on. Arm, leg or other :-)

Definately not my painting arm, but it is my bar-leaning-on arm, which proved somewhat problematic last night

That sound really bad. I suggest a straw and lean on the other arm :-)
Petone, thats Wellington? My bro in law lives in Lowry heights. Not too far away eh? ;-) :-)

Interestingly when I got mine done , and I admit it was a few years ago now allI can remember was that it felt ticklish the whole time, a bit like when you get a plastercast removed and the blade touches your skin..My overriding memory was being completlely bored sitting there whilst it was happening

Ah but not these days! I was able to facebook and keep up with my forums while getting drilled. Beats the two hours of uncomfortable boredom I'm used too.

So I get it re-done. That's hardly a problem.

:thumbup: I don't have any tattooes ( :mad: how do you spell the b---y thing?), I can't decide on which one I should have :oops: . Have a friend that's getting a Viking-ship on his back. It's been going on for many years and I don't think it is finished yet, but very cool!
