The proper management of trolls etc

I'm curious.
What does the forum do about trolls, net loonies, psychopaths etc?
I've not seen any around in my short time here.

Usually, they are an enormous problem unless you moderate the life out of a forum (HaT, I'm afraid, does this to a degree).

And please note: I'm not complaining about the lack of Wildlife, just curious.

well what happens is if a looney comes into the forum benno follows the IP address and......well........eerrrr takes care of them lets say i still don't know he hasn't followed my IP address though
