Painting plans over Christmas?

Posted by west1871 on 22 Dec 2009, 11:19

Well with all this extra time after the dinner and trips to the shops taking back ill fitting clothes and unwanted gifts (sorry now mrswest1871  )etc,
What are people planning to paint over Christmas?

I for one will be finishing off my ECW and hopefully expanding it.
And my german para's

I have some Revell US Para's that I will finish tomorrow afternoon (which is when my holidays start, so that counts). About 40 Caesar modern US/Special Forces that are about 30-60% completed that I want all done by the 13th of Jan when I go back to work. I also have some Mayans and Aztecs that have been half done forever that I thought I might move another 5-10% towards completion.

The sitting room :-) and if I took back my ill fitting clothes I would´nt have anything to wear :-)
Just finished Painting my "lead Soldiers" . Basically I plan to paint anything that takes my fancy, but as usual with me I just think...."ah, I´ll do it tomorrow" and before I know it, it´s the last day of the hols and I´ve done nothing.

I think I will paint a fig for the 15th competition. So much for figures. In the other spare time I will play some new games on my PS3, play with my children, visit old friends, visit my parents, my sister and my grandfather, watch the new season of "Stromberg" (German version of "the office") on DVD....etc....If I look at the amount of dioramas, vignettes and figures I have done in 2009, some kind of a break will be most welcome. Between and after the holidays I have to work anyway. It is the most busy time of the year in my branch. :(

No specific plans over here. This week I'm occupied with the Christmas dinner for friday (yes my friends I cook  ). After Christmas I'll have some time to paint, and will work something out for the open theme competition. And if someone send me that ACTA ECW figure for the comparisons I'll paint that to ;-)
And a lot of other figures to paint of course, it never stops 8)

Remco, I agree. Is that why he's painting your room first?

Dad's place: a nice and cosy seat, something good to drink, watching how his son is painting the room  Oh and this could help to :whip:
