No, you are not alone. I have a PS3, but use it mostly for MP3 and Bluray. But I have also some games. I purchased the new Modern Warfare2 in GB some days ago. I have the whole series. Uncut and much cheaper than in Germany. Here you pay about 65 Euro for a new PS3-Game, in GB it´s only about 45 Euro.

Yes, DOW is great. Easy gameplay, good graphics, a lot of tactics and action. I have only the first part plus extensions. DOW2 is for sure to slow on my old PC.

There are so much good strategy games. One of my favourites is "Company of Heroes" with its extensions. You have just some units, not that usual unit rush. And if you have one Kingtiger at your command, you can be sure to make some trouble to your enemy.

DOW was great, so I figures Mark of Chaos would be awesome too.
well it wasn't.
It doesn't have singleplayer skirmish games.
There's just the campaign and there's multiplayer.
That's not fair.
Medieval II is fun, but it has got nothing to with anything vaguely historical.

Cheers, boys !

Wheeling turn, if you like Imperial Glory, you could enjoy ETW, too !!
It's a real advances version of it, so to say.

Empire needs quite a good machine to make it run smooth though.
That's why I quited playing just after two weeks or so. I simply need new hardware :(

Gruß,
Marc.

I can´t believe that this game being talked up like this. If anyone has played it they will know it´s bog awfull.
http://theminiaturespage.com/news/789449/
It originally went under the titel "Legion", then came out as "Legion Arena" and has been out for a year or so as "Great Battles of Rome" All they have done is bung in a bit of history channel clap trap. ALL 3 Games are the bloody same. Believe me, I´ve been mugged off, don´t fall for the same trick!!!!!!

I simply don't have the time for PC games, as good as they look.

One of my gaming pals plays PC games relentlessly: paints nearly nothing. I supply all/most of the figures when we game.
I don't mind this generally as I have always painted both sides of any period I do.
Until the latest: SYW.
We decided I would do French, he would do Russian & a third friend would do Prussian.
The French force (mine) has nearly 5 battalions, 7 sq of cavalry, 3 guns and a bunch of other stuff finished. Russians: nil.

He's a mate but I'm not sure how to handle this issue.

Atm I'm playing Medieval 2 Total War. It's so time consuming and takes ages to finish. I'm currently playing with Scotland!! England, Ireland and parts from France and Denmark are under my Rule xD

I play Cossacks 2. The game has some strange features but is fun play.
I like another games, a it different, it looks like a skirmish game with some roleplay - Jagged Alliance.

I'm currently playing Hearts of Iron III, the WW2 simulator. I was playing as the Netherlands, and just got totally crushed when the Germans invaded. My so called Allies Britain and France were of less than no help and my only comfort was that Denmark, Poland and Belgium suffered much the same as me.
