WW2 King Tiger Tank

Posted by kursktiger.cn on 07 Jul 2023, 05:00

Hello everyone
1/72 King Tiger Tank form Italeri/ESCI,
I removed the skirts on both sides and front and rear of the car body, changed the machine gun tower on the front armor plate, added tracks on the left and right sides of the upper turret, added night vision equipment, added one Armoured reconnaissance and sundries on the vehicle.

Very nice build and paint that old (mold) Madame.

It is a kind of irony that the captain need the card as a sun protection and in front of him is a night vision equipment. :-D :yeah:

An absolutely beautifully assembled and painted piece of (relatively) modern heavy cavalry. Way beyond my skills for sure. Congratulations on a fabulous piece of military modelling.
Ps/ only little mistake I feel qualified to find fault with is the size of your autumn leaves… which seem way too big. Maybe if you put them on newspaper and apply a heavy rolling pin the big leaves will disintegrate and be more true to scale.

Very nice work indeed with a lovely colour scheme.

Mr K.B. is correct in that the leaves are nearly the size of the wheels.

I put real dry leaves in a bag and crush them up. The bits look more to scale.

Keep up the good work.

Best wishes,

Chris
