Haha, I remember you were waiting for them to continue your army. It's a little disappointing, I'm waiting for them too, but they'll come out eventually!

Hannibal at last! He is great.

Samnite Cavalry / allied cavalry - ok- those two first warriors are no Samnites. Were Ligurians allied cavalry? I thought they were punic mercenaries?

Why do Linear-A keep releasing new Celts! It's like they don't want me to finish my army, I just want to use their lovely sculpts on new units. I might have to start a Galatian army just to use all my spare Celtic models.

I really like this Hannibal sculpt. I think it's worth pointing out that Linear-A already made a Hannibal sculpt previously with the Hannibal Makes a Triumphal Entry in Italy set. The previous sculpt seems more formal; dressed in parade gear, ornate armour, a laurel wreath with both eyes still functional and clean-shaven. This Hannibal is a hard-bitten veteran, stripped down to fighting weight, bearded, missing an eye. I think I prefer this Hannibal. But now I'll have to choose between two Hannibals for my Carthaginian army...

I'm liking the new Samnite cavalry. The new figure with the bowl helmet is probably a local non-Samnite, Italian tribe and I appreciate the variety.

Here are some news for the friends of the Napoleonic period. A surprise-set which seems to present figures for the big cavalry charges during the battle of Waterloo.

Yes, these figures have been on Linear-A's new in-house forum since Thursday.
Wasn't sure to what extent a simple reposting might be undesired from their point of view?
But since the masters have already been spreading for a few days on vk and now also here, so be it.
The figures in Mabos post above are meant to be from 027 - Napoleonic Wars Surprise Set


Again a Highlander, but also what seems to be a surrendering french Cuirassier.

Another new figure for one of their upcoming mini-sets is also presented there.

More choice in hoplite sculpts is always good!

I must say, looking at the Athenian army sculpts, they might seem a bit archaic? By the time of the Sicilian expedition, armour should have lightened by a lot right? Greaves and Corinthian helmets should have disappeared by this time period, to be replaced by lighter armour and Attic and Pilos helmets. The Syracuse army seems accurate, but the Athenians seem historically accurate? I don't mind at all because I want to build an army around the time of Thermopylae but still, seems worth pointing out (for reference, see the picture of the Athenian sculpt below.)
