The good news is that he will never die entirely because his characters will live in all of us and in future generations.

My condolences to his family and friends. :(

Very sad news! He and Goscinny were a HUGE part of my childhood and formed very much of me. Even though he was old it is still very sad news.

Sad news indeed! But as Santi says, he will live on in all his creations as Asterix, Hoempa-pa (Oumpah Pah le Peau-Rouge) and Tanguy and Laverdure. Thank you for that and Rest In Peace!

I think I will paint one figure that I have from Remco, to Honour him! ;-)

Yes this is a sad day, the comic has been taken over a few years ago so new albums will come lukely.
And as said before: he will live on in our hearts and his characters.
For me personal; I see these figures every week, so I am extra sad...

But the good news is:

And i got more for you my friend

This are sad news.
But I think he had his age and a full and successful life.
One more hero of my childhood has gone away.

What do you think if, as a tribute to Uderzo, we post once again our painted Asterix figures here? Here are mine.

Uderzos passing was a big shock for me, given that im a huge Asterix fan since im like 6 jears old. He wil be missed.

This year more sad news im afraid, his brother marcel also died (he did die of covid) now te last artist who has wored on the original asterix has passed also.

Lucky for us fans Asterix wil live on with ferry and conrad but it wil ever be the same again.

Rest in peace Albert and Marcel.
Re united in heaven with Goscinny, Morris and Chalier.

Bubble Gum Figures ... Roman Siege Tower

ASTERIX & OBELIX

The comic that looked at Science events and Gallic wars of Ancient History.
Vercingetorix Vs J Caesar.
With the passing of the Asteroid TOUTATIS ...4179 NASA, the Gauls feared it most by referring to its possibility of causing the sky to fall in.
Obelix , therefore employed himself propping up the sky, while leaving rock chippings everywhere.

Then there is Aster, taken from the, 'Greek', meaning for a bright Star!
So it was the character Asterix came into comic-book existence, The rest is toy fun-time history.

Concerning all that had, had input in it with their passing,
their combined Legacy will live on. BB

Ahrrr..

Looking every day for those, but I know these guys are safe at your house Paul.
And you know, if you don't want them anymore whahahaha

At the moment I have a lot of figures double, because I sometimes buy several to get to the Romans, I recently sent a complete set to Peter. If anyone still wants to paint these figures, please let us know. And if someone in his country can buy the Romans for a nice price, then I will be recommended!
