Size isn't everything!

hello all,

thought I would share with you my other passion, growing chillis
I had grown one chilli plant from seed (six seeds for £2)it was rather a spindly rut of a plant so I didnt hold much hope for them when I saw the fruit it was tiny
So one drunken evening meal mrswest1871 dared me to eat one of my chillis.
so I put the whole chilli in my mouth and bit, nothing.so I chew again and then all hell broke loose :angry3: :cussing: :violent: :help:
I had to send west1871 out of the room so I could swear uncontrolably.
here is the offending chilli with scale,to eat them is to believe them

this is the normal size of a plant next to it.

As the farmer said, "it´s not how big your Tractor is, it´s how long you can plough with it" What he was refering to I´ve no Idea.
What´s she doing with the axe?, trying to get the chillis away or cut them down for later?

That's what you get when you're drunk, and start listening to your wife. You will always regrett it ;-)

@Paul: what do you think that she is doing? Getting a piece for "her" husband. She has seen the result of what it can do

Greetings Peter

They got hotter with more sun and less water too, I grow chillis and peppers as its great fun and dead easy. Yours look a littel like rainbow chillis, which are firey little buggers, go from green, to purple to red. Did some chocloate chillis this years (actually a variant of pepper) and a few others and there is always the moment of truth on the first one of a new batch when I have to eat a raw one to find out "where its at".

I feel your pain Rich!
