I got one of these last weekend, and...wow. I already have Arma's Yak-1, which was equally awesome, but this kit is really nice. Unfortunately it was shown on the 22€ pricetag too...but I think it was worth it.

Very cool collection of presents. I really like most of the Italeri Sets. I am looking forward to see more of your work in the near, future. I thought that Dalibor made a joke in your birthday thread, bu now I have read as well, that you are going to retire. I still have some more years to go.

Sure They are a relatively new company with high quality plastic kits, from Poland I think. They did some kits already, Iskra, P11, a World War I Fokker, Hurricane I and II, maybe a Spitfire, Yak-1, and now the Wildcat (plus some others I forgot). Generally they have only plastic parts and some variant kits, and the Expert sets contain photoetch parts, masks for the canopies and if needed wheels, plus a more extensive decal sheet. For the Wildcat and Hurricane this was third of an A/5 sheet, pretty neat. Detail is great, moulding as well, and for me they feel like earlier Dragon AFVs in 1:72 that were of similar quality and detail. So I'd say go ahead, buy that kit, you will like it

When I was kid models like were maybe $2. I think I paid $12 for a giant Tirpitz over 2' long (no idea what the scale would be on that). Boxes of Airfix were .39 cents, Roco tanks .79 cents. If I could time travel I'd be hitting the hobby store with loads of cash!
