Vacation pics

We've had a very wet summer this year, but I've been out in the woods:

Here we are going to look at some caves that were used as a hideout by the local outlaw Gillberg/Hillberg (seen both names in the same source):

Here is a lake:



Out in the forest to look for blueberries and chanterelles (the missus thinks I look like an outlaw on the run):

Did find some:


Foul play in the forest!


But these were all the cloudberries we found:


It was very wet in the forest (this is a path!)!:


Bought some books (cheap, 20 SEK each!):


Baked some bread:


Did some fishing (didn't get any):



And had a pretty good time in spite of the weather.

Wet forests are great, there´s more going on with the flora and fauna, prefer that to a sunny beach any day !!!!!

Whow that dio of your Gata Forest is growing and growing! It's really getting huge!

I'm pleased you still had a good time over there, and if you didn't the dog probably had for sure!

Yup, even if we had a great time our dog had a greater time (the other boxer belongs to the missus' brother. They played all day long and slept cheek to cheek all night long.).


The hardest part with the dio was to get all these small things like mosses, lichen, needles, berries, and mosquitoes to look right (the chanterelles looked to good even for their size so I fried 'em and ate 'em ). The easy part was the raindrops, I just put the dio in the shower and took the pics!

that countryside looks amazing ,some times we do realise what we have on are own doorstep.beach holidays bore the arse off me,being a fat git I have to watch out for green peace keep trying to towing me back out to sea
