Laser Cut Paper Leaves

Posted by naord on 31 Mar 2019, 17:08

Hello

I started assembling my laser cut paper leaves today, from Model Scene.

Doe's anyone has a good tip for that?
It is so small, I don't know how they did it in their photo.

Thank you.

What exactly is the problem? Are you assembling plants with those leafs? I highly recommend tweezers for the job. If glueing is needed, put a drop of glue aside and dip the leafs into the glue, while holding them with the tweezers. This way you get the glue only on the parts you want.
I hope this is helpful

Hi

Thank you for the answer.

There are a few seperate leaves, but most of the packs consist of layers of foliage. You have to glue the center of the foliage to another center, and adjust the leaves the way you want.
I saw on youtube a woman inserting a needle to the center of the layer, and while holding the needle, she could desighn the leaves.
I didn't manage to insert a needle, but I thought about gluing the center to a balsa wood stick and holding it, instead of using a tweezer that might crumple the leaves. For desighning the leaves I will probably use toothpicks.

Hope it will work...
