German camouflage nets color

Posted by mickey mouse on 14 Feb 2019, 20:29

Can anyone help me with the question above?

Image

Is this the right color for a German camouflage net or should it be a merely greyish color?

Thanks for your help!

Choose what you like and think it is right.
I have seen so man different style of webbing and shape, worn out, washed out in b/w pic, do what you feel right.

I have used an us net of ww2 for a japanese plane and for british guns in falkland. No one has written, oh! wrong camo net. Wrong paint.

It's difficult to know the colour of something designed not to be seen.

I think Les Barker summed up the problem. :

Seriously though, I agree with Eric do what you think looks right. having a pattern that breaks up the visual form of the thing being hidden is more important than the colours. I think I'd probably match it to the colours of German uniforms or match it to the colours on the dio base.

Thank you, gentlemen.

Graeme - Les Barker summed it up in a great way with lots of humor, indeed, hahaha. The question now, is how to fade it now. :eh: :yeah:
