This must be one hell of a secret set because it says:

Both you Jan and Gunnar are the test pilot painters on this brand new line of 1/72 scale figures. If any other members have bought some their input would be interesting to see too. Adding reviews would be very helpful for others who are thinking about wondering down this type of roadway in the hobby. BB

It is really good to read and see on Face-Book Gunnar`s Puppy,a fast growing wonder that will soon be taking him for walks come snow, rain or indeed the sun to come. The painting can always wait
:eh: Eh! But a Pup needs to do what it must even while dragging poor Gunnar around.

O`,What Larks they all will have over hill or dale.
Mrs B, and i are most sincerely happy for them. :coffee: BB

He looks like he's settling in quite nicely. I'm sure Gunnar and Herkules are in for many happy times together. :-D

My latest purchase just before Christmas:

Image

All the dealers have run out of these and Strelets say they can't be restocked because the mould is worn out; so genuinely rare.

I bid in a few E_Bay auctions for this set but the final selling price was up around $80 when postage was included. That's just too much for a set of plastic figures in my view. When I saw these not in auction but on sale for a not unreasonable price I snapped them up. Postage to Australia and GST make them my most expensive set but I think that's OK for a set like this. And well short of whatever price I would have had to pay to win one of those auctions.

I'm thinking of getting stuck into some of the figures witht the exacto knife; is that sacrilege with such a rare set?

Picked up a box of these at the local model shop this morning.

I wondered why I hadn't seen this box on PSR and the answer is perfectly simple. It's not on there

Don't worry, they're not for me, my youngest grandson is painting Roman period. ( Very slowly)

Yes Peter but PSR usually link to the other reviews when figures appear in a different box.

Esci - Italeri, Italeri - Revell, Airfix - Hat, etc, etc.

Also

It's time someone issued a set of Wills that all the others can fire at.

The two kids do the same (one jump over the other) as in the Valdemar kids set.

The last in the row is/should be Her Majesty the Queen.

Mabo you are not the only one.
:-D
If I search for plastic kits I came several times across Scale mates modeling database.
Maybe they do that for figures too ?
Yes they do !
And I get two hit for unknown producer to me.

Funny to me is that the Logo of Heroes figures show propeller planes and a pilot figure of that time.
But nothing in 1/72 as expected. On the other hand they do some kids, great!
