If my cavalry start charging through a lot of heather, you'll not be that surprised.

Just when I thought I was getting close to completing my Austrians another set comes along.

These will be shoe-horned in immediately after the Cuirassiers and before the Chevaux-leger.

Although not technically my 'latest' purchase, in my year back in the hobby (after a very lengthy absence) I have collected the following sets:

I'm generally trying to just pick up sets that will help me with my FIW projects, but having seen the Zvezda sets on PSR I couldn't resist picking them up. I've also collected a few Zulu war sets for a future Isandlwana scene.

These jumped off the shelf at me. I had no option but to bring them home.

That makes a decent number of marines I have now. ;-)

Good price on the box :P

NB. I will not be painting the sailors in striped shirts  or even painting them at all.

I'm hoping some of those jump ON the shelf here. Might be time to look in the LHS again.

Ok so maybe not a set of figures, but really pleased to be able to get hold of this book which has been out of print for some time.

Interesting brick walls always make me curious M M, and those look perfect to replicate for ones own use in a lump pump water and soap rubber mold. :sst: `and plaster of paris of course.' Added the little button, that often shines after a good buffing up.

Rich W,it`s great to thumb ones way through a good book, i hope you enjoy reading it. BB

Many thanks to Remko for sending this and to Alex for a wonderful figure. :yeah:

I really like the FIGZ Napoleon pic too, I've just noticed his cockade and the fact that he's wearing klopjes, that's cool :-)
