Again all for $40 along with the Sterite container they came in at a convention flea market. Does anyone recognize the manufacturers?

A few bits and pieces from ROBIN.

1, Newline Designs Austrian Uhlans, Pavlov Grenadiers in advance and Austrian Landwehr. The latter also being good for about three Jâger uniforms.

2 A few bags of bases

3 and 4 some sheep and farm yard fowl.

5. An exclusive limited edition resin figure to purchasers of advance tickets for ROBIN. I've no idea what scale it is or what I'll do with it it's fairly large.

Chatting to Sean of Newline Designs I did mention a couple of sets I'd like to see and I'm pretty certain that these will make an appearance. Just that will have made my trip to the fair very successful. :-D

And did you say thanks to Mrs G, Fred? That she allowed you to buy some more figures! :-D

Are there somewhere some good pictures of those Pavlov grenadiers?

And that last figure looks usefull for a fantasy scenario. I like it! ;-)

Little Robin stands at 52mm Peter. I'll sort out a photo for you of all the Pavlovs.

MrsG was relieved that I didn't go over the top with my purchases and she did say I should have bought the donkeys and goats

That makes him scale 1/35, I think. That's big indeed. Maybe he can fight some Knights of that scale! :-D

That's kind of you to take pictures of the Pavlovs.

Strange that women not complain when we buy animals for our hobby! Same thing here! :eh: :-D

The tale behind this purchase is a long and winding road so I'll leave that for when I have a month or so to spare.
It arrived this morning and I've had a little fun with the supplier. There are 6 shelves as standard and it will take another 5 which I did order ( enough said Fred, just do a BB and leave that for another time. Incidently, I am not the Fred who resides in BB's head, I have my own voices)

Anyway

I now have 5 shelves spare in the other unit ( which has 12 glass shelves) so I can continue painting.

The Aircraft may, at some stage, have to go. I'm now short of wall space.

A friend of mine is married to a Polish woman. So when they have been visiting her country last time, I got the chance to get my hands on those very great books, dealing with the Polish Army from 1807 - 1815. They are bloody exellent and full of details. I am really happy.

A selection of a few more animals and fowl to play with. They're meant for 28mm but I think they do ok with 1.72 and so does MrsG , so that's a definite :-D . They're now 1.72 :yeah:

Loads of chickens to get under horses hooves and there's a few rats although they really need a bit of work to improve definition

Tons of wonderful stuff posted recently especially those Books!

Nice to read of another Fred too.

Yes F.R.E.D : Field Remote Expeditionary Device (NASA)
We know him simply as Fred, and he stands for much more then meets the average eye. He came into being long ago on this very same Forum, and as you see he is very special indeed. One day I will reveal what MayBell stands for.
