MARS ATTACK!

Posted by Paul on 02 Jun 2009, 17:13

Don´t know if anyone has heard this but on the 27th of august this year Mars will be the closest it´s been to earth since 5000 years and this event won´t occur for another 60,000 years. Apparently it´ll be visibly as big as the full moon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a bit like this, :angry3: = :silent:
I´m definately getting a new camera for this one!!!!!!!!!!!

What stage is the moon supposed to be in at the time. Will they both be visible in the sky?
