I know these have been out for a while now, but I've just recently bought them:
I held off buying them because I thought they were rather expensive, considering WW2 is not my main period of interest. But recently Plastic Soldier Company had a sale for the D-Day weekend and that brought the price down so I didn't feel quite so guilty. The service and speed of Plastic soldier Company was great.
I was very surprised by the size of the boxes; the Churchill one is big, and the T-35 one is huge! So, in some aspects, the price is justified. There are two models of each tank in each box, and I only need one, so I'll be sending 1 of each to my brother in the hopes that he'll get back into modelmaking.
I also purchased (from Jadar Models) the two new Austin Armoured Car kits from Master Box:
They look very finely molded and I noticed the British one (what MB call "Mk IV") has the Indian Pattern (used in Third Anglo-Afghan War) as an option. I will be building the WW1/Anglo-Irish War version, so the Indian Pattern wheels will be spare, and it seems they will fit the
Mgebrov-White I'm currently building. So I may not have to cast up new wheels after all; bonus!
