News from the Front : I've ordered the Zvezda set "French light Infantry " so you can update the list : it's for me ! (I will paint the 4 poses I think ... they are all with the same colours those bl***y guys ! :eh:
If somebody have some informations and pictures about this set before I start the painting, it will be a great help for me !
For the Prince of Orange, I can't say if I will have the figure before the deadline and if yes, if I'm able to paint it !

Jan : you have done a great job : convincing me to paint Nappies is a performance which deserves a Golden Brush ! :-D

And another very welcome update:

Our Sponsor Hagen Miniatures supports us with their special figure. I have got them.

And Andi has said as well, that he will paint a figure for the project. I think he is making up his mind which one. I will post news here of course. Actually I am screening all the posts and PMs for the preferences of the members who would like to paint some more figures, than they already have. After that I will spread list as a base for discussion, up to the weekend.

So this is some kind of last call for all the members still not sure if they should take part: Now or someone will get the figure you like to paint maybe.

Working with all the others is really fun. And your work will be seen on the FIGZ in Arnhem in June.

:read: Have a look on the list and make your post.

And I also contacted some guys who did not finally decide which figure they want to paint. After everything is clear I will post the news - I hope - tomorrow. :sweatdrop: :-D

Hi Pascal-- Your most convenient and reliable reference is http://centjours.mont-saint-jean.com/ Just note the distinction between centre companies (fusiliers) and elite companies (grenadiers and voltigeurs). The later wore epaulettes and carried swords, among other things. Haven't seen them up close but I'm pretty sure the new Zvezda figs are fusiliers.

Cheers,
Kurt

Yes the Zvezda figures are fusiliers. And the reference from Kurt is good. Here is a detail I have posted for Gunnar sooner here:

Hello friends,

In the last days I have prepared the final issue for the figures still on the bench. As we have concluded we waited till the end of February, in case of other members want to take part in the show.

I have reread all the posts and all the PMs concerning the project. I have tried to communicate with some members, who did not make up their mind yet – I am still waiting for some messages, but I can add these answers in the flow of activities.

I was very happy that some guys, still working on the project, offered to paint more figures. Some have concrete ideas, because they have special figures at home they can paint, others propose their support in general.

So I listed all the suggestions and the number of painted figures as well. Then I try to balance everything, so that no one paints 10 figures and another one only two, even if both are willing to participate. There are some old and popular figures offered from different forum members. Here I accept the bid as well in the order of the proposals and the number of different figures already painted, but I was also looking on the existing alternatives from each participate. Might looks like reading in the tea leaves – I only try to explain, that I was on pains to be as correct and fair as possible.

Finally I hope I could contend everyone with the following proposal:

Paul (the one with the most figures still painted for the project – beside me :headbang: ) adds:
A Call to Arms British Artillery / Gunner with a canonball and a gun.
http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=600

Gunnar paints
Revell French Grenadier (last stand pose) The one deserted from our friend Martin ;-)
and Revell British Infantry (British soldier for a square)

Marvin
kindly offered to paint the ESCI Scots Grey and the Bremen and Verden Hussars or Lüneburg Hussars not present at the battle but a colourful unit that can be made with
ESCI Light Dragoons

Kurt (Vellek)
adds the Revell French Mounted Guard Chasseurs

Rich (Bramble15)
offers Ney from the Zvezda French Headquarter set

Sascha
paints the FIGZ Special Figure from Napoleon
This is a very special figure as our dear friend and moderator Peter ( :notworthy: ) makes me aware that this Napoleon merge: The character of Napoleon, a figure from our impressive modeller Alex and a figure that is unique for Bennos Figures Forum. So I cancel the Strelets Napi and replace him with the FIGZ Figure – thank you Peter!! :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

And thanks to Sascha: He told me, he has one of them at home ready for painting.

I will officially paint the Art Miniaturen Brunswick Flag bearer, the French Young Guard Tirailleur and the Osteroder Landwehr.
Actually I add the Art Miniaturen 1.Footguards (1.Corps, 1.Brigade Maitland) / Ensign

As I have mentioned above: there are other members that still have to answer on PMs and mails so I can add them later on the list. And in special cases I still have to get in contact with some of you. So the project will still expend and the remaining figures will be taken.

Does everyone of the participates agrees with that? Have I misunderstood any offer? Just let me know. I hope we can solve everything, so that everybody is pleased.

Thanks everybody for the support once again this is really the project as I hope it could be.

And for all the ohters: There are still figures on the list.

Actual addition:

Sascha will paint the Strelets Mameluk, so this is as well gone from the list.

This brings me up to say: In the post from above I issued the figures offered in the past. So it goes without saying that the rest of the list is open for everyone. If someone would like to chose another - even Paul - the Mass-Painter ;-) - feel free to do so.

I have seen Martin`s Hanoverian Bremen & Verden Hussars on line, and they are Splendid !

A Call to Arms, Gun & Gunner with cannon ball, and the Strelets Mameluk I can send.

I have nothing else on your list. I have Strelets French in Advance by the hundreds, but they are all based up in line. Lots of other stuff still in boxes, but not on your List.

Jan,I can send in a replacement unpainted French Cannon if you have need of one. Hopefully All should reach you by the weekend. BB
