The “Bennos Figures Forum Famous Waterloo Project” (BFFFWP)

Yep,

I found a cuirassier Airfix horse.
With a base.
Normally I cut the bases from all my figures and throw them away.
But somewhere far, far, far away there was a small scrapbox...........with cuirassier Airfix bases.
So Pffffff, :sweatdrop: :sweatdrop: that's OK. I only have to paint the horse.
Now a searchparty for the already painted Revell old Guardset........

Let me see if I've got this right:
paint figures (gloss or matt finish?),
don't base them,
send them to you well before the end of April.

Wonderful.

And to answer your questions:
Painting with matt finish, no special work for the base and send it to me before the end of April!

I will PM you because of the address.

Good news from you Martin. And to point it out this cuirassier was really my most beloved figure when I was a child ;-) (don't know why exactly this... :-) )

I am looking forward to add you figures.

I should be satisfied just painting the Airfix-figure and the lancer, but I'm painting Revell's Chausseur á Cheval and two ESCI French line infantry too. And there is another difference between us and the Eurovision song contest! We are better! :-D And have to buy some paint to finish my lancer! Just realized! Child labour! :-D

Mutiny, Treason, Betrayal.

I feel like Napoleon at Waterloo, but then worse:
My complete set of Revell Old Guard grenadiers left me, without warning!! :angry3:
They are gone (I think back to France). No capitulation or fight till death follows.

Just gone.

That means that I can't deliver an Old guard grenadier to this project anymore.
So Pse put me out for a Last Stand Revell Old Guard Grenadier, I am sorry.
Sh*t happens, I know.
Luckily my other contributions to this project are ready. :sweatdrop:

If everything goes as I hope I can take on a French Revell Guard (a vague smell of tea comes from the figure). And a Revell British Line Infantry (1st Foot or 44th, or some other regiment?).

Vague smell of tea? I suspect an English spy in the French ranks...

Hello Guys!
First of all @Martin: You Need Command and Control. What's going on there in the Netherlands, if troops going where they want

Generally we should wait a little to give other member the chance to be part of the project. I have in mind that you, Gunnar and you, Paul and also other members have offered painting more figures.

What do you think: We will wait untill the end of Februar. After that date we wait no longer and if someone would be involved with 6 or more figures than it is no problem. But until end of Februar I would like to wait and keep an eye on other members.

Is this ok with you?

I can take care of the Art Miniatures Figures. Actually there is no one exept Peter and me who would like to paint some of them, but I have most of them and I can buy the others to prepaire them for the dio.

Thanks again for your interest and your support
I think it will be a great project. Please, Gunnar, Paul and also all the other friends beeing already engaged in the Topic: Is it ok if we handle it this way?

You are the boss here, Jan, so everything you say is okay. I'll paint what I said I do and if you need them you'll get them. If anyone else wants to paint these figures it is perfectly alright with me.

I fully agree Jan ,and with you Gunnar,we know who`s the boss. I have to delay posting anyway because of trouble with the Primer I used recently,( ARMY PAINTER PRIMER! ),the darn stuff started to ping off. P`d! Off, was my reaction to this, but I like most soldier on with using differing stuff. I at the time of buying such wonderful products that on You Tube look the very best, and rather pricey too, always seem to get trouble when using them. ( All correct & cleaned ) Needless to say I`ll clean the Cavalry up later for my own collection. So Yes Folks! I`ve started painting my selection again, and all for the better, but practice won`t make perfect. I`m trying Revell Primer this time____ Deadly Stuff this is, Cellulose Fumes! Hope it don`t melt the plastic. If this fails back to enamel primer for me,very cheap and it stays on. BB

This what's coming, hopefully something resembling the same will arrive.

Nice Painting,Cameronian. Both figure & Gun look the part.

Image

The old AIRFIX set has a price tag of around the £50 mark to buy these days. I only mention this fact because perhaps others out there might like to buy them, but not at this high price.

Image

This ACCURATE set re-released is in fact the old AIRFIX set of British Artillery & figures, priced £8.99.So they are now freely available to buy at a reasonable price. Have fun painting. BB
