It really depends of the kind of board you are using, in some type you could remove the paper easily with a blade (slip the blade under a corner of paper, then pull away the paper, gently...) with some other type, you'll need to humidify the paper, directly with a sponge, I know some use a flatiron.
I noticed that with black "kapa" board paper is easy to remove !
You could also find this board under the name of K-Foam, Styro foam...etc..
I bet you'll have to try different types to find THE good one...
