One of the things that makes the above clip so sweet...not that beating the girls college of Tallahassee isn't sweet enough....is that f$u was heavily favored in the game and had they beat the Gators that night they would have recieved a bid to play for a national championship.

That and watching their players cry.

Furthermore it had been less than a year since the Gators abused them like this in the 1996 National Championship game...

the only way this could get any better is if one of our ohio posters would actually admit to being a buckeye fan....dutchboyinohio has actually gone so far as to claim foreign origin to avoid that humiliation.

This vicious, but legal, hit was inspired by the illegal punching of Eric Rhett, after tackles, that had been going on in the game to that point.

Okay, little explanation. The South Carolina Gamecocks (SEC) beat the N.C. State Wolfpack (ACC) in an extremely close game, 7-3. :boink:

Don't be so hard on 'em Cole. It shoulda been a lot worse. They hung in there. It was obvious, after about 45 seconds, that they were boys facing men.

They'll be alright in acc play.

State's defense was perfect, but their offense! :shock:

Look at the points. USC's TD came off of a State offensive fumble and State's FG came off of a short drive sparked by a defensive pick.
It was a miracle that the score was that close.

It wasn't so much the score...South Carolina's offense is inept, at least Garcia is (touchdown called back, inside the 20 twice with no points...they moved the ball)...it was the way USC was tossing y'alls linemen around and decapitating your quarterback.

The only football that's more physical than the SEC is in the nfl.

I'm tellin' ya. If O'Brien would let Wilson run, USC woulda gotten killed. Bad. But nooooo he's gotta be healthy for the rest of the season, etc... blabidy, blah, blah :roll:

Look at the times they sacked him, every time it was from behind. You just can't get him if he can see ya comin'. I think practice is gonna be tough in Raleigh this week. :-)

Listen to yur coach Cole...not only would Wilson have had no where to run...he'd have gotten killed. Remember last year?
