D-Day Normandy - Nemrod 1/35 US

Posted by armpcm on 09 Sep 2014, 12:31

Hi there mates,

After a long period of reflection, that was the lack of time and motivation. And since it´s a matter of the past i have started a new figure, so here it goes.

The figure his from Nemrod and it´s advertised as a member of the 30th Infantry Division, clearly visible the divisional patch on the left shoulder, i guess I will clean it and so place the figure in another location of the Normandy coutryside. :winky:

Here we can see a overall photos of the parts, and most of them off their resin blocks, later tonight the job continues with the removal of the excess of resin.

I leave you with this photo of the detail of the body, and head that i like it a lot :-) for me the expression of the face his very realistic.

Hi to all that are following my new learning curve.

Yesterday i keep on going with the separation from the blocks and flash removal, still some more to do, but i have cleaned the division insignia on the left arma and now i will place it on other unit, still to determine, but for sure he will go to the bocage.

My difficulties so far where the fiting of the hands on the sleeves, i oppend them up with a pinvise, blade and did a bit of sanding, but still have to work on a better fitting, one thing that stroke me where the lack of instructions  but easily surpassed.

Necessary additions, straps for the MM, Helmet and ammunition bag and i think it´s all for now.
