As you know, I am busy painting the Asterix figures, and am now expanding the Roman army in particular.
For this, I am scouring every 2nd hand website to find some more.
This is where a bizarre friendship developed with someone who was also keen to buy the figures, but I was just ahead of him.
The seller asked if he could pass on my details to him, as he was keen to get in touch with me.
After some e-mailing, it became WhatsApp and last FIGZ I met him with his son for the first time.
He is very creative, and we share a lot of fun creations of these figures.
He had transformed the druid into a wizard, something I also wanted to do, really a top idea.

No problem, just recreate, and he told how he had made him.
But no, my wizard just had to look different.
With my girlfriend I was thinking what we could put in his hand instead of the stick that my friend had done, then at one point she said a snake...
So last weekend I started working on it.

My girlfriend also had a pot of glow in the dark paint, which gives an extra fun effect in the dark:

Thank you all for the responses,

No idea if I am the first person to have used glow in the dark paint on the forum, but the effect is definitely recommended.
Of course my painting style is not as good as yours, but I found rebuilding this figure a fun challenge, I had a lot of fun with it.

Now I'm moving on to a witch, if anyone has any fun suggestions for a funny name, let's hear it!

A bit late, but a great idea! And as usual a very cool conversion! Up here these figures are quite rare, so seeing someone convert them is a bit shocking, but refreshing. And that glow effect is great fun!
