Russian Maxim MG Winter

Posted by JurgenH on 25 Jun 2023, 19:23

Hello all
I have done so in between times something else.
With the high temperatures, I thought I'd do something cold.
My choice fell on the Zvezda set Russ. MG Troop Winter Maxim MG.
The only thing I didn't like were the wheels of the gun carriage. They were simple discs.
I took a spoke wheel from the PI and machined the diameter and thickness with the Dremel.
machined with the Dremel. The snow is soda.
Have fun with the pictures.

A very nice little display of Soviet infantry and their old, heavy but reliable Maxim. A great little model, which is enhanced by the extra detailing you have done on the wheels. And the soda 'snow' gives a very definite wintery feel to this.

Fine work!

Very nice! And I can feel the cold! (or is it the air conditioning again...)
