Amazing Boer Artillery, Joan! But I am astonished that there is not a big visible difference between Strelets and Speira, when painted...

Hi…!

The Pom-Pom guns join the Boers…
Everything here made by Strelets but the figures are not exclusively from the Pom-Pom set. Some are from their Krupp’s or Long Tom sets.

Many thanks for your time.

All the best!

Joan

Hello friends...

It's the old Despertaferro speaking...

I had to change my account, the other one wasn't working and despite following the reactivation instructions correctly (or at least that's what I think...) I've been unable to reactivate it.
Moderators, I would like to go back to my old account...

Well, I've been working like crazy. Last year I barely had a few days off... When I finally finished my last job (April), I've been traveling ever since.

Just arrived, let's see if I remember what it's like to paint...

It's a pleasure to talk to you again...!

Don't worry, Joan, painting is like riding a bike, you never forget, hahaha.

And the pleasure is mutual. ;-)

Now your Boer War collection is really something special! Bravo.

I also used WW1 Anzac for colonial volunteers in slouch hats in my Boer War force (only shared on Twatter so far though). The Strelets sets are great, particularly the artillery crews - the guns themselves not so much [smile] but now languish in the to-do painting line.

What gaming rules if any are you planning to use (if any)?
