This second duel against Mr. X 2022 has also ended, and I hope he doesn't do al his duels with this result.
Yes unfortunately he lost this time, but fortunately he still has 10 matches to go.
What was very nice was that this duel was fought by a new duelist,
and then also win immediately his first duel: WOW congratulations.
The winner is Norman (Kaiphranos) and when he sent me his pictures I tought Mr. X has a hard duel.
Fortunately, both duels were of high class, I enjoyed it!
And who knows, maybe this will inspire others to also participate in a duel against Mr. X,
after all, there are still a few months left, so take your chance before you're too late!

Congratulations on choice of figure, congratulations to Norman but also to Mr.X. It was fun, interesting duel.

I also do hope that Mr.X doesn't get lost his motivation. This is just tough luck, not lack of quality of his work.

True, two great entries, but I liked the first one, Kaiphranos more
Each step counts and it is always hard (I know :))
Glory to the paint brush gladiators!

I voted for the fantastic details of Normans entry. But I like both! It is still a long year and a lot of duels to come. So congrats to both this time and I am looking forward to the next duel in march!

Thanks, everyone - this was fun and I hope to do another sometime! And best of luck to Mr. X in the remaining rounds - I admire what they did with this one, especially the metalwork!

Absolutely top quality entries by both contestants this time. I had a very difficult time choosing.

To Mr. X-- if you keep turning in projects of this quality, you will be winning many many duels. I wish I could paint like that.

To Kaiphranos--your entry was so good, and with the subject matter, I thought for a bit it was from liriu, although the style is slightly different. I especially loved the scabbard and the horse decorations.

Marvelous entries and a marvelous duel. That I missed! Think I have these figures somewhere and feel quite tempted to give them a try.
