And another cool duel has ended.
If you look to both pictures, you can see it's (again) the same location.
Yeah I had another duel against my bonus son Jurrien.
And of course he did win, painting at the same table I tought I would win.
But when he took his figure to his room he made a fantastic face, awesom Jur.
With the red drunk nose I saw making the pictures he would win.
I personal ad a small ring to mine, just for fun.
Took a litle drup of PVA glue, and painted that.
This figure was fun to paint, full off details, I would recomend it to all of you.

I voted for the drunken one! I realised when I opened this topic that this was again a duel between you and Jur!

To me the two brothers looked quite équivalent, both really well done with nice colour tones.
Then I voted for the « hick » 1st one, yours Remco, because he looks really dazed and confused… and a little drunk. So I do well identify with him

Both entries are fantastic! So hard to pick.

I had to go with red-beard because of his angry eyes. Eyes are so hard to get right, and I really liked the way those turned out.

The eyes of the first entry are funnier, though. So I can see why some would prefer them.

Thank you all for voting, this was a very fun duel! I thought Remco had a great chance because I was disappointed with my color choice, and his one was very vibrant.

Thank you for the compliments on the eyes. I am very proud of them, but there is a lot of luck involved when painting eyes. The red nose was the first time I painted a gradient between two colors. I found a tutorial on YouTube which was very helpful.

It's always very fun to duel on the same table. That way we can make sure we don't paint the figure exactly the same way, and it's fun to see the progress. At first Remco was having a hard time, but when my white paint didn't cover so well I was a bit frustrated. It's very fun to tease each other then

And yes, I will post some figures soon. I made quite a few the past few months.
