I think so, the details are an important aspect and the sunlight definetely makes a difference on the photos.
Finally there is a little bit of sun in germany ^^

I agree too, a lot of details can make the difference between a normal diorama and a masterpiece diorama. ;-)

Great progress on your project, dombom.

Tiny update again: I started to take care of the roman general (maybe Crassus?).
It was a good feedback from you guys, that the should be armed etc, so I let the green stuff work.
He now wears are helmet and a sword.

General is completed as well.
Last thing would be a hit phartian rider, however I do not have a suitable figure. Either I gonna find one to buy or I have to do a full conversion. Not sure about it yet. Or i do skip it entirely...

A great model of the Roman general.

He doesn't look quite as worried as perhaps he should be, with those Parthian cataphracts just about to destroy his Legion ! :-)

Fine work. :yeah:

That general converted from the Italeri mounted officer with the addition of the helmet and sword in the right hand looks great, dombom. You've done a great job on it.

A general is usually the icing on the cake for a project, I love lavishing attention on my leader figures (but not in real life). Great work!

Hello Dombom,

My compliments for your diorama. The painting of the figurines looks good, the photography is brilliant in some pictures because you use the backlight, giving it a very realistic look. And my resprect for researching the original batllefield and how you used this for your dio base.
