Only the DBA army is finished, I need many more elements for l'Art de la Guerre, but I don't think I will work on them this year. I first want to finish the bases of their Germanic opponents, and many, too many other projects

Regarding the Early Germans, the status is: Work in Progress, the first steps of the bases is done, I have to stick some grass and highlight the ground and it will be ok. So another army on display in a few days, if I find time for it

Wow, I saw the finished German army before the Roman one.

It doesn't really matter, because the quality of both is outstanding, Phil. The paint job on the figures is fantastic on both, as is the decoration on the bases.

My favourite character is the Roman centurion from Esci. I also have two of them slightly transformed (one in battle and one in routine service) and ready to be painted, but I can never find the time to do it.
