Ordered last saterday and they arrived friday from England here at my house in Holland. Very quick and good service. Even P&P was cheaper then a small parcell send within Holland.
The sets look great and absolutely no flash on the Revell reissues.

Have became an telephone call from a toy store owner , who informed me about an enourmous amount of old toy soldier components which he has for sale-just like the 7th Cavalry i rode as quick as i can....... :horse:

Entering the store he showed me about 8 big boxes containing a huge Lot of old Airfix 1/72 Soldiers covering all series -boxed and unboxed-, a couple of old Airfix Battlesets , Buildings and a bunch of Esci,Italeri and Atlantic Sets-mostly boxed and on sprue

That´s what i took with me on my first visit:

- Old Airfix Waterloo Battle Set (complete with 150 Soldiers plus all boxes , Waterloo Farm House plus Accessory Set,incl. the "how to build sheets"),dated 1973

- Old Airfix Fort Sahara (complete with bag)

- Old Airfix Waterloo Farm House (complete )

- Old Airfix Kit "Refuelling Set"

- Old Hasegawa Kit "Kübelwagen & Kettenkraftrad"

- Old Fujimi Kit "Diorama Accessory"

- Emhar WW1 British Artillery

.....maybe obtaining something more next week

I was skipping this topic for a while...

in the meantime I bought a

Revell's US paras
Zvezda's Swedish artillery, Russian heavy arty, 2× Russian dragoons, Vikings
some extra and discounted sets - Samurai infantry and cavalry

and the latest arrival were:

Caesar's Germans in wintercoat and Ancient Germans
Strelets's RCW Reds infantry in wintercoats, Boers infantry and cavalry (these are very nice)
Zvezda's Swedish infantry
Hat's El Cid Spanish infantry and light cavalry

and

Accurate English Men at arms - actually Imex's

I knew that Imex acquired Accurate's products, but I was hoping that web shop is actually having an original box

I expected that figs will be a bit larger and more robust (more like Revell's and Hat's), but it turns that they are bristle a bit (and they are dark-green, almost black coloured).

Regarding this material, is it a same used for original and Revell's production as this is now with Imex run?

thnx
