How to assemble Hat WW1 Ottoman Machine Guns?

Hello and thank you for adding me to the Forum.

I have a question about Hat WW1 Ottoman Machine Guns, I just can not understand how to assemble them. There is a kneeling guy with the MG barrel all in one piece, then two separate pieces for the back and front legs of the MG. The back legs are attached to two pegs on the MG barrel and on two recesses on the base of the figure, ok; but where the front legs are supposed to be glued? There is a drawing on the back of the box, but I can not understand from it. Can anybody help? Thank you very much and forgive my English.

I assembled mine quite a while ago and from memory I just glued the front legs to the base I used for all my MG team
