German despatch riders

Can anyone tell me what the colors of the German despatch riders coats were? I know the wear black leather, but did they wear other kind of coats?

German Kradmelder coats varied from different shades of dark green to anthracite, greyish and indeed black.

Have an image search to get an impression.
I recommend to use the headwords "Kradmelder Mantel" and add "Wehrmacht" if necessary.

What color is that, Paul? it looks like to me a green-grey shade in the middle, but i can be wrong?

Remember that genuine WWII equipment is 70 to 80 years old by now.
The colours may have faded considerably in the meantime.
Even more so when the pieces were constantly worn at that time.

As far as I can find they appear to have worn, green, Grey, Brown (not so many pics of Brown coats) and black. Most common, green or grey
