Maybe someone knows, what this Indian wears for a frock coat.
Which uniform is that and which color did it have?
It is the leader of the Arikara (Ree) scouts Bob-Tailed Bull
He was involved in the battle at the Little Bighorn.

It is an enlisted man's M1851 or 1858 U. S. issue frock coat in blue but with a bit of decoration..ie the officers' epaulettes.
